Job management software for Canadian contractors

Quote on site, schedule the crew, invoice before you leave — with GST or HST at the right rate for the province you are working in, and an app that keeps going where the signal does not.

GST, HST and the provincial patchwork

  • GST at 5% federally, HST at 13% in Ontario, 14% in Nova Scotia and 15% in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and PEI.
  • Provinces with their own sales tax on top — BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec’s QST — are set up as your own rates.
  • Working in more than one province is normal here, so more than one rate can sit on one invoice.
  • Your GST/HST number appears on every invoice, which the CRA requires once you are registered.
  • Registration is required once you pass C$30,000 in a rolling four-quarter period. Confirm your situation with your accountant.

Rates and thresholds are the headline ones and were checked in August 2026. They change in budgets. Confirm your own position with your accountant — this is software, not tax advice.

Two provinces, two tax rates, one invoice

Plenty of Canadian trades work either side of a provincial line. Set the rates once and the documents come out right for wherever the job was, without a spreadsheet in the middle.

Interac e-Transfer, on the invoice

The way most Canadians already pay a small business: an email address, a few taps in their own bank app, done. It goes at the top of the invoice, with your institution, transit and account numbers underneath for anyone doing direct deposit. Each one is its own copyable field rather than a paragraph they have to pick apart.

Cold, remote, and no reception

Rural service calls, sites well past the last tower, a basement in February. The app writes everything to the phone first, so the job is finished whether or not the network is.

Small crews, priced for it

Jobber is Canadian and very good, and it charges per user. If you are two people that is fine; at five it is a different conversation, which is the conversation we are built for.

What you are probably comparing it to

Jobber is the best-known name in Canadian trades software and is a genuinely strong product. Where we differ: one flat price for up to ten people, and a free plan rather than a fourteen-day trial.

Everything contractors get, in every plan

Quote on site, win it on site

Build a professional quote on your phone before you leave the driveway, with your rates and materials already loaded. Customers accept with one tap. No printing, no email tennis.

Works with no signal at all

Basements, roof cavities, rural sites, underground car parks. Quotes, notes, photos and hours save to the phone and sync themselves the moment you have reception again. Nothing is lost and nothing is entered twice.

Scheduling that fits real days

Move jobs around a calendar the whole crew can see. Everyone knows where they are going and what is next, without twenty messages at six in the morning.

Invoice on the spot, get paid sooner

Turn a finished job into an invoice in two taps and send it before the tools are packed. Customers pay from the link. Reminders chase the slow ones so you do not have to make that call.

Your country’s tax, already correct

GST, HST, state sales tax, multiple rates on one invoice. Set your rates once and every document totals correctly, in your currency, with the numbering your tax office expects.

Know if you are actually making money

What is quoted, what is booked, what is owed, at a glance. Job level margins show which work is worth chasing and which customers are not.
